Morzine ~
'Village
de Charme'
Morzine
is a picturesque Savoyard village that prides itself in retaining its
traditional chalet-style architecture and local customs.
Nestling
in a valley in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, between Lake
Geneva to the north and Mont Blanc to the south, it has become the
centre for a wealth of year round alpine pursuits and entertainment and,
as a family resort, offers a wide choice of activities and interests.
The village has a good range of shops and boutiques,
bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and a weekly market. Nearby, there
are numerous attractive towns and places of interest to visit for
sightseeing and shopping.

Spring and Autumn
Spring and Autumn are also delightful seasons for taking
a quiet, relaxing holiday or short break in the Haute Savoie, with
pastures of early-Spring crocus and cowslips followed by an abundance of
alpine meadow flowers and grasses. Autumn brings copper-coloured
forests with mists lingering over the valleys in the early morning.
