Morzine Winter
Morzine is a picturesque Savoyard village that prides itself in retaining its traditional chalet-style architecture and local customs. Nestling in a valley in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, between Lake Geneva to the north and Mont Blanc to the south, it has become the centre for a wealth of year round alpine pursuits and entertainment and, as a family resort, offers a wide choice of activities and interests.
The village has a good range of shops and boutiques, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, a new leisure complex with spa centre, and a weekly market. Nearby, there are numerous attractive towns and places of interest to visit for sightseeing and shopping.

Morzine/Avoriaz is the focal point of the Portes du Soleil, a region offering 650km of ski runs and snowboard parks for all abilities and endless off-piste skiing. The interconnecting lift system provides access to 12 resorts in France and Switzerland ski-sure, transporting you from the villages of Savoie to the panorama of the Swiss Valais. A good snow record, coupled with the most advanced snow making system, ensures skiing from December to April.
