Morzine Summer
With the snow gone, the ski run above the chalet transforms into a footpath - Balcon de Pleney - from where you can reach the high pastures and mountain trails or take a leisurely walk across the meadows into Morzine, have a cool drink at one of the outdoor bars and watch the parapenters land.
During July and August, the Pléney télécabine ski lift 800m from the chalet, as well as other lifts in Morzine and the region, offer a quick and more comfortable access to the high trails.
Whether you are an adrenaline-seeker or prefer to take life at a more relaxed pace, Morzine in Summer is an excellent destination for a wide variety of alpine activities and leisure pursuits. Savour its unspoilt beauty from snowy peaked mountains, rushing streams and tranquil lakes to its flora and fauna, lush grazing pastures and clean fresh air. Normal temperatures here are 5-10deg C higher than in the UK.
